The recently voted into office, Harare City councillors inauguration which is supposed to take place this week at Harare Town House is set to take place amidst strict Covid 19 rules and regulations whereby a limited number of people in the gallery are set to attend.

A visit by the author at Town house confirmed this through the Registry Department Office. An official had to validate this by calling her immediate superiors saying “we are only allowing the spouse of the councillor concerned and a few people in the gallery to witness the event due to Covid 19 regulations, this is what I’m advised to tell you”, she withheld her name as well.
