Give students more life skills- Zim learning institutions challenged.

As the government of Malawi and other stakeholders are championing girl child education, some parents still think that it is less important to educate a girl child. This is a case with Lauren Nyambalo, a 15 year old girl who is in Standard 7 at Catholic Institute Primary School. She expressed concern that for some time her father has been making bad comments anytime she asks for money for school fees to the extent that he even said that even if she goes and start prostituting he does not care. This has been affecting her emotionally to an extent that this is affecting her studying performance in class. Despite facing enormous frustration from her own father, she still wants to pursue her dream of being a nurse. This calls for stakeholders in the education sector to provide support to Lauren’s dream
