At a time when Bulawayo is battling diarrhea for the fourth time, the city’s high-density suburbs have gone dry. Areas like Magwegwe and Lobengula have gone for more than the scheduled 72-hour water shedding schedule that was circulated by the Bulawayo City Council last week. Magwegwe has gone for close to six days whilst Lobengula has been dry since Tuesday till date forcing new Lobengula residents to queue for water at their local private clinic. According to the town clerk’s statement, City council authorities are currently battling with diarrhea cases that have rocked Tshabalala residents.
