For quite a long time, we have noticed the mushrooming of illegal dumpsites in Kuwadzana, Ward 37 , and the surrounding wards in Harare which have also become a source of menace within a time of a devastating pandemic.
The most affected Kuwadzana 4 lies between the Library and Kuwadzana Polyclinic and the one leading to Kuwadzana 1 home industry off the 1st street.
The city of Harare devised a plan which they called “the blitz” yet what baffles one is when the refuse collection truck emerges, it simply whistles past homesteads leaving uncollected garbage, which find its way to these illegal Dumpsites.
