People from Shire Valleys districts have expressed concern over the delay by government to construct temporary road at Kamuzu road after the M1 road was cut off due to cyclone Ana. Some concerned citizens have said they are currently in a state of disaster after their business operations are not running smoothly.

Water Crisis Deepens in Gimboki South

They said since the M1 road was cut off, most of their basic commodities have depleted due to lack of suppliers influenced by poor transportation and scarcity of fuel. Meanwhile, people are requesting authorities to quickly deal with the situation by constructing a temporary road at Kamuzu road in order to provide means for business people to engage in economic activities
