The re-emergence of cough syrup on the market a cause for concern

The notorious cough syrup ‘bronco’ has resurfaced on the streets of Emganwini, in Zimbabwe’s second largest city of Bulawayo. Ever since the beginning of the 2021 lockdown, scores of young people have resorted to the uptake of bronco. The source is unknown, but the community is feeling the loss of future leaders. There is need to fast track the construction of a youth center in order to have something to keep the youths occupied because as the saying goes an “idle mind is regarded as the devil’s workshop.”
